Our doctors, nurses and allied health practitioners maintain their professional development by ongoing training and graduate studies in areas of special interest. All our practitioners maintain the required Continuing Professional Development Points by attending educational seminars and accessing online educational facilities.
Doctors of Lalor is involved in education and training of medical students from the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
Students attending the practice for GP training are mentored in a broad range of general practice competencies, including patient consultations, minor procedures, vaccinations, early childhood and adult health checks as well as preparation of care plans for patients with chronic diseases. Mentoring students has been a mutually fulfilling and enjoyable experience for doctors, staff and students.
Dr Tevfik Kahraman with over 20 years experience heads our dedicated team of doctors, nurses and administrative staff.
Dr Tevfik Kahraman, with over 20 years’ experience, heads our dedicated team of doctors, nurses and administrative staff. He graduated and practised as a diagnostic physician in Turkey for a number of years.
In Australia, he worked extensively in the public hospital system and in general practice for over 15 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is an exceptionally knowledgeable and competent physician with a large patient following. Dr Kahraman is also involved in the training of medical students doing GP rotations.
Dr Kahraman originally trained as an engineer before studying medicine, so he is good at fixing ‘things’ as well as patients.
Dr Vindigni has almost 30 years’ experience as a GP, catering to all aspects of primary care. She is a well-regarded, competent, and caring practitioner and patients are assured of a comprehensive and thorough approach to their treatment.
Her area of interest is women’s health, ensuring that our female patients receive the very best clinical care. She is extremely well regarded, and her expertise as a practitioner and dedication to her patients makes her a valued addition to our team.
Our practice nurses are highly qualified, competent and compassionate and adept at putting patients at ease.
Mr Prayag Sharma is our full-time Practice Nurse who attends to immunisations, minor procedures, and wound care.
Mrs Debra Noorbaccus is a registered Nurse Practitioner and Midwife with many years’ experience in women’s health. Mrs Noorbaccus is also a certified Implanon practitioner and performs surgical implants procedures for long-term contraception, which are performed at the clinic.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Debra has also provided general primary care to patients for many years and can issue prescriptions and referrals to specialists. She is extremely well regarded in her profession, and patients are assured of a caring and focused approach to their treatment.
Her expertise as a practitioner and dedication to her patients makes her a valued addition to our team.

Our practice employs a Practice Nurse to assist with patient care. As assistant to our doctors, a number of procedures are carried out by our practice nurse, such as wound care, vaccinations, cryotherapy, adult and childhood health checks, etc.
We also provide an After Hours Locum Service, which means our patients can have access to quality medical care 24 hours a day. Our telephones are automatically diverted to this service outside clinic hours, or the service can be contacted directly by telephoning (03) 9429 5677 (or 13 SICK).
Our patients also have access to Allied Health Professionals who are available, on site, by appointment.
